As we dicussed in the previous article, Backgammon is a casino game of skill and pure luck. The aim is to move your chips safely around the board to your home board and at the same time your opposing player moves their chips toward their inside board in the opposite direction. With competing player checkers shifting in opposite directions there is going to be conflict and the need for specific tactics at particular times. Here are the two final Backgammon tactics to complete your game.

The Priming Game Strategy

If the aim of the blocking tactic is to slow down the opponent to shift her pieces, the Priming Game tactic is to completely block any movement of the opponent by assembling a prime - ideally 6 points in a row. The competitor's checkers will either get hit, or end up in a battered position if he/she ever tries to leave the wall. The trap of the prime can be setup anyplace between point two and point eleven in your half of the board. As soon as you've successfully constructed the prime to block the movement of the competitor, your opponent doesn't even get a chance to roll the dice, that means you move your checkers and roll the dice yet again. You will be a winner for sure.

The Back Game Technique

The objectives of the Back Game tactic and the Blocking Game strategy are similar - to harm your competitor's positions hoping to boost your chances of succeeding, but the Back Game technique utilizes different tactics to do that. The Back Game plan is frequently utilized when you're far behind your opponent. To participate in Backgammon with this tactic, you have to control 2 or more points in table, and to hit a blot late in the game. This technique is more challenging than others to employ in Backgammon because it requires careful movement of your checkers and how the chips are relocated is partially the result of the dice toss.
